Primary products are produced both in Romania and China in the form of ingots. In Romania, most of the primary aluminium is used to manufacture cast house products, including wire rod, billets and slabs. In May 2009 our first cast house in China for added value primary products using imported equipment was commissioned. The Group now has capacities to produce slabs, billets and wire rod of 100,000 tpa each in China.
